Objectives:

• Connecting the scientific pharmaceutical community for the benefit of the society.
• Exchanging ideas and experiences of best practices to promote community health.
• Creating links between the researchers in different fields of pharmaceutical sciences.
• Empowering the young researchers for interaction.

The conference will include plenary lectures, invited professors and poster presentations in the following thematic areas:

• Environmental monitoring.

• Controlling Drug abuse.

• Chronic disease prevention.

• Community pharmacy.

• Phytotherapy.

• Clinical pharmacy.

• Drug development.

• Pharmaceutical technology.

• Microbiology and immunology.

• Biochemistry and Molecular biology.

The official conference language will be Arabic.

• Full papers will be published in a special issue of the periodical "Bulletin of Faculty of Pharmacy" if requested after peer reviewing and after paying reduced publishing fees (L.E. 200)

• Information to the Authors.

• The poster should be headed with the title as well as the names and affiliations of the authors as submitted in the abstract and contain a clear survey on the research data.

• Keep the written information to a minimum and depend on visual aids rather than giving an oral presentation.

• For the sake of clarity, the objectives of the study should be brief and preferable in short sentences, in case of multiple objectives, they should be listed in order of decreasing importance.

• The results description should be clearly distinguished from the conclusion.

• Authors are required to spend at least one hour at the poster to answer questions and/or participate in discussions.

• Please arrive at the poster session room 30 minutes before the start of the session to post your materials.

• Posters must be completely dismounted at the conclusion of the session.

• Poster board is 90 cm wide by 120 cm high

• The best poster presentation will be specially prized.

* For Researchers: L.E. 200.

* For post graduate students and last year pharmacy students (Faculty of Pharmacy Cairo University): L.E. 75.

Deadline for submitting fees: February 15th, 2008.
