BPS-Pharmacotherapy Preparatory Course

Overview: This course provides the necessary knowledge for Pharmacy alumni to help them provide appropriate, effective, safe, and economical use of drugs. Thus, enables them to serve as a source for therapeutic information and recommendations, demonstrating advanced knowledge and experience.
Topics include: Cardiology, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine and metabolic disorders, critical Care, HIV/infectious disease, nephrology, neurology, general psychiatry, oncology, supportive care, ambulatory care, men’s and women’s health, fluids, electrolytes and nutrition, pediatrics, geriatrics, biostatistics, study designs, clinical trials, pharmacokinetics, drug information and communication strategies in Pharmacy. All topics are covered in accordance with the updated ACCP pharmacotherapy preparatory review and recertification course.
Practical training in hospitals: optional, available on request.
Target audience: Fresh graduates and Pharmacy alumni working in different healthcare facilities.
