Clinical Pharmacokinetics:
Introduction to advanced concept in clinical pharmacokinetics with
emphasis on special patient populations and specific drugs. Drug dosing
to renal impaired patients and patients with liver problems will be of
interest. Mechanisms and kinetics of drug clearance through liver
enzymes and cytochrom P 450 system will be discussed. |

Pharmacy Practice (I):
Pharmacy practice I provides fundamental understanding of functions,
responsibities, and outcomes of pharmacy practice in modern health care
system. Introducing fundamental concepts of pharmaceutical care and
patient counseling with emphasis on communication skills, patient
interview and medical history documentation. The course will give
special interst for special patient groups [geriatric, pediatric, etc….]
The course also introduces the basic techniques of physical assessment.
Student will apply their medical information on several patient eases
and therapeutic plans through problem based learning technique. |

choices, drug interaction, therapeutic monitoring and patient
