• The Center of Applied Research and Advanced Studies (CARAS) was established at Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University in December 1989 after the approval of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Universities.

Vision:

• In alignment with Egypt 2030 vision, The Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University maintains its national leadership and continues its international distinction in the field of pharmacy.

Mission:

• We are committed to qualify graduated students who adhere to values and ethics of the pharmacy profession. Graduates are able to compete locally and internationally via academic and professional programs that meet the market developments by using advanced teaching and learning strategies and techniques. The faculty also supports applied scientific research that contribute to the knowledge banking, medicine industry, national health and effective partnership with community institutions based on achieving its mission with highly qualified human expertise.
