About the center

The Medicinal, Aromatic and Poisonous Plants Experimental Station (MAPPES) at the Faculty of Pharmacy - Cairo University is the center offers services in the field of education and study of medicinal, aromatic and toxic plants, as well as in the field of scientific research and community service.

The New York Botanical Garden's William and Lynda Steere Herbarium is one of the largest collections of its kind in the world, holding 7.8 million plant and fungal specimens from around the globe.
