Vision
The Aromatic and Poisonous Medicinal Plants Experiment Station at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, should be one of the best plant experimentation stations at the local, regional and global levels to disseminate knowledge and science and achieve differentiation to serve civil society institutions, especially institutions concerned with the educational and research system.
Message
The Experiment Station for Aromatic and Poisonous Medicinal Plants, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, is the oldest on the African continent, and the Department of Pharmacology is the founder of that specialty at the level of Arab countries. The Department and Experiment Station are equipped with the highest capabilities for the purpose of supplying the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, and private and private universities with high-quality plant species for the purpose of learning and research. Goals
- Providing pharmacy students with high-quality plant species for the purpose of learning and academic research.
- Providing appropriate technical support for researchers in agriculture,
- Preserving and breeding rare species of plants.
- Providing technical facilities for graduate students to perform their research on medicinal plants.
- Providing the College of Pharmacy with ornamental plants for the benefit of the College of Pharmacy for decorative purposes.
- Cooperation with the sector in the field of scientific research and production of medicinal plants.
- Recycling waste from plants on the farm to prepare compost.
- Use types of fertilizers that benefit the earth and are not harmful to the environment.
