Performance Appraisal and Quality Assurance Unit
About PAQU
Pursuant to University President’s Decision No. 1834 of 1999 and the approval of the University Council in its session held on September 29, 1999, it was decided to establish the Quality Assurance Center at Cairo University and quality units in all faculties and institutes of the university to evaluate and develop university performance and accreditation.
Accordingly, the University Performance Evaluation and Development Unit was established at the Faculty of Pharmacy - Cairo University, and a head of the unit was appointed based on the decision of the Faculty Council dated 9/14/2003.
The unit's name was changed to the Performance Evaluation and Quality Assurance Unit on 9/3/2006.
According to the establishment decision, the Quality Assurance Unit is considered an administrative unit within the organizational structure of the College of Pharmacy and is administratively subordinate to the Dean of the College and technically subordinate to the University’s Quality Assurance Center.
The unit is responsible for establishing evaluation, development, monitoring, and quality assurance systems for all components of the college's university system. It is a branch technically affiliated with the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Cairo University.
